Kristin 09

This LO is actually the second page to a different LO that I have not been able to post yet. I will be posting the first page in a few days (It is a challenge at Frosted Designs...)

Anyway... I was out working on my design team challenge at Frosted Designs using the senior pictures of my daughter, Kristin when I realized that I could do a second page using the sketch from Stuck On U Sketches this week. They have a sketch from Amyee Gandy that is sooo great! You need to stop over and check it out!! Anyway... I wanted to do a page where I could use some of her favorite senior pictures all in one place... and this is what I came up with!!

The butterfly and 2009 was made using a masking technique with my Glimmer Mist... I have to say... I am lovin' this these days. I love the way they turned out and in the right light, you can see just how shiny they are!!
Supplies used:
Papers: GCD Studios - Whoop De Doo stack, DCWV Neutral stack
Metal embellies: Tim Holtz and Making Memories
Glimmer Mist - Coffee
Various Inks
Cartridges: Blackletter, Ashlyn's Alphabet
I am also able to enter this in the Practical Scrappers challenge this week which is inks and chalks!
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit and taking the time to leave such kind words of encouragement!! Stop by next week and see page one of the LO!! Barb :)

What the heck? I don't think I ever noticed you have 4 kids! SO cool! (there will be a point in my life having 3 teens as well, yikes!)
Well she is just beautiful..this page is just awesome Barb! I LOVE the cool, funky distressed vibe to this and I think it really highlighted the photos w/o taking anything away from them! great job!
