Live for the Moments

Hello everyone! Barb here today to host the blog! I have been having so much fun playing with Quick Quotes new lines and I wanted to share a layout I created!

For the background, I used the Alton line. I loved the starburst effect and thought it would be fun to  add some inks, mists and paints!

I used one of the quote strips from the Sheer Joy 500 paper and cut it into pieces to fill the space. I took a black gel pen to add a black border on them to help them "pop" from the page a little.

One of the things I like best about Quick Quotes papers is how well you can mix lines! The patterned paper behind this photo is from Antique Garden.

Family

Happy Friday everyone! It's Barb here to host the blog today!! I was thrilled when the Club Q kit arrived at my door a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to dive in! It is packed with sooooo many fun embellishments and fabulous papers!

The kit this month features the Antique Garden line of papers. I love the grays, golds and browns!

Included in this kit are these amazing metal flowers! I love the way I could add them to the flower cluster for added color and texture!

This was a quote that was part of the kit. I adore the saying and thought it was perfect for my photo of my kids!

If you are not a Club Q subscriber, you need to check these kits out! They are packed full of papers, ribbons and fun embellishments!

Hello?!

Good morning! Barb here to host the blog today! When the newest shipment of papers arrived from Quick Quotes, I had some photos laying on my desk and was surprised at how well theAntique Gardens Papers went with these cute little Minion photos!

One day at Universal Studios, I decided that my daughter needed to take a photo with the Minions. As she went to stand in position for the photo, the one Minion kept standing in front of her! So… I thought the title was kind of cute as Lauren was standing behind saying "…. hello?!"

I really like the new papers, Antique Garden, and to have a little fun, I mixed in some blues from the Calypso Line! That is where I found this journal tag!

How cute are these letters?! I took some chipboard letters that I painted white. I then added some dots using a Q-tip and PowderPuff Chalking Ink in Blue Jeans. I love the way they turned out!

I hope you have some time to create today!
