Quick Quotes - May the Days...

Happy Wednesday everyone! Barb here to host the blog today! I had some fun playing with the Calypso papers and wanted to share I layout I created!

The Calypso papers are the best for these crazy photos! The bright colors and fun patterns made it the perfect pick for my layout of my daughter and son playing around one afternoon in Scottsdale! And believe it or not, these photos were taken in January!!

I love the Calypso paper (100) that has several strips of different patterns on it. It is perfect for creating borders to stretch all the way across your page and it is also where I found this quote. I just cut the strip in half to make it work in the space I needed it in!

These cute little die cut flowers and tag came from the April Club Q kit! I love having the extra die-cuts around because it makes creating a layout fast and easy! I inked around the edges of all my papers and die-duts with PowderPuff Chalking Ink in Midnight Confessions.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great rest of your week!

Quick Quotes - Life is Good!

Hello everyone! I am up on the Quick Quotes blog today! I have had so much fun creating with the newest Quick Quotes lines! I have another layout to share with you today!

I am so lucky to have these ladies as friends! Recently they made the trip all the way from Indiana to Arizona to visit me! I loved this photo and was waiting for the perfect paper to use with it! And then my design team box arrived! This layout was created with the new Sheer Joy Line! I love the reds and blues! I kept it pretty simple with a kraft background that I added a some molding paste and spray ink to and then just started layering the different papers!

The journal tag is from the Baggage Claim line but it matched perfectly! The beautiful burlap flowers were left over from the Petaloo Blog Hop. I simply added some PowderPuff Chalking Ink to the edges to add a little color!

I inked the edges of all my papers, including the butterfly, with PowderPuff chalking ink in Mocha Mama! That has always been one of my favorite "go to" colors!

This line will be available soon in the Quick Quotes store so be sure to keep your eye out for it!

Quick Quotes - Petaloo Blog Hopping Again!

Hello everyone! Barb here today and I was thrilled when I found out that I got to make two layouts for this blog hop! The combination of Quick Quotes paper and inks with Petaloo Flowers can't be beat!

I had this picture sitting on my desk since last summer. As soon as I saw the Petaloo flowers, I knew they would be perfect for this photo! And of course the new lines from Quick Quotes, Sheer Joy & Dream Big, coordinated perfectly!

The teal flowers come in layers so you can layer them any way you like. I took apart the Apricot and Ivory Flowers so that I could create my own custom combinations! I love the way it turned out!

I used PowderPuff Chalking ink in Coral to color the doilies. I sprayed the doilies with water and then ran the ink pad over them… love the way it gave them a soft coral color!

Thank you Petaloo and Quick Quotes for being so generous and letting me work with your products!
