Easter

My house is a little crazy right now so you will have to excuse me for not posting this last Thursday when it appeared on the Quick Quotes blog! Since Easter is this weekend, I thought it would be fun to share an Easter themed layout I created using the Quick Quotes Summer Samba paper line! I love the bright colors... perfect for spring!

I know I have said this before but I have to say it again... I LOVE the chipboard embellishments from Quick Quotes! They are so easy to work with and there are so many things you can do with them! I used the butterflies from the Bag O'Chips Butterfly collection!

I painted the chipboard butterfly with white paint and let it dry before I inked it with PowderPuff Chalking inks in Lemonade and Blue Hawaiian. I outlined the wings with a black pen and then added Stickles to the body and wing of the butterfly to add a little sparkle.

For this butterfly, I painted the butterfly with white paint. Once the paint was dry, I debossed it before inking it with PowderPuff chalking ink in Limeade. I finished it off with some Stickles on the body.
