Hello everyone! I love the new lines Quick Quotes recently released and I finally had a chance to play with Serendipity! I love the blues and purples and greens!
I had these photos of my daughter from a trip to Cabo. They always make me laugh because she is terrified of people in costumes (like the characters at theme parks) but for some reason, she thought these guys were pretty cool! I started with the Serendipity 300 paper as the background. I love that it had a pattern but wasn't overwhelming. I added some white and orange paint splatters before I layered on my papers.
The orange banners were actually a 12 inch border from the Calypso 500 paper. I cut it in half to make the banners. I thought the sentiment was perfect for these silly photos! I inked the edges of the banners with the PowderPuff Chalking ink in Caribbean Blue.
I love the darker blue paper that is part of this line. It has a subtle pattern that is perfect for accenting parts of the layout. I used some of it to make the border on the side of the photo along with the circles.
The best thing about this line is that it is so versatile! It can be used for ANY type of project. I used vacation photos on this one but I have already started a Mother's Day layout using this line!
