I guess I have been a little distracted… I totally forgot to post this on Friday!
We are excited to be partnering with Stuck?!Sketches for this week's Friday Challenge! You have provided the sketch, and we have provided the challenge! We want to see you use ink, mist or paint on your project while using the sketch they provided! How fun is that?!
Here is my layout…
And here is the sketch….
I love that this sketch allows you to use multiple photos if you wish to. I rotated it 90 degrees for my layout.
I used white paint to create a background for my title. As much as I love the polka dots, the title was getting lost in them. I also painted the chipboard word Love.
I used some paint and mists to add some splatters to the layout too!
I would love to see you play along with us! And we are giving you plenty of time! This challenge is going to run until Jan. 29th! Check out the details HERE!
Have you had a chance to check out the "Love is in the Air" Kit?
You can win it for playing along!!

Crazy Fun....
Frosted Designs is still celebrating their Grand Opening with a Blog Hop! You have until Sunday afternoon to hop to all the blogs, win prizes and find discount codes to my store! You can use the codes to get discounts on everything in the store including the brand new collections that are just being released from Crate Paper, BoBunny, Studio Calico, Echo Park and more! The discount is also works for the scrapbooking kit, clearance items, mixed media items, UmWow Studios Chipboard ... everything!! But you have to join in on the Blog Hop to find the codes!!
So today, I thought I would share a fun layout I created using the Snapshots Collection from Bella Blvd!
I am still working on getting the photos from my daughter's birthday all on scrapbook pages and this collection has been perfect! It works great because of all the fun, bright colors! But I have to say, it works equally well on boy layouts! Did you check out Lori's Disney Top 10 post from yesterday on the Frosted Designs Blog? It was made with the same line! How cool is that?!
I had some messy fun with this layout! I added some Cherry Pie Dylusions ink to molding paste (to get the pink color) and then used the Hero Arts Herringbone Stencil to create the pink lines here. Once it was dry, I went back with a black pen. I also took a black pen to the green arrow background paper. I thought the doodling added a fun tweenish look! (Is tweenish a word?! lol!!) And of course, the layout would not be complete without a little sparkle so I added in a few sequins in various sizes!
If you like this line, you might want to pick it up quickly! We are almost sold out! And did I mention that it is ON SALE?! Everyone loves a good sale, right?!
Have a great weekend!

Craftwork Cards - Photo Shoot Fun
Hello everyone! Since I have been sharing some of my Bella Blvd Snapshots project, I thought I would share another! :) This layout was made for Craftwork Cards CANDi! The Metallic Crushed Ice CANDi was perfect to add a little shimmer and shine!
Sequins are popping up everywhere right now. I used them along with CANDi to add some fun sparkles around the cameras! You know... kind of like a flash! :)
Here is a close up of a camera I cut using a Spellbinders die and I added the CANDi right to the center of it!
I love the way this CANDi sparkles... just like the sequins!
This is the CANDi I used on this project:

Frosted Designs - Life is Gr8
Happy Monday Morning! We have had some exciting stuff happening at Frosted Designs! The store is open and we are introducing the new Design Team! Stop over to check it all out! You can enter to win some of the Prima Delight collection and UmWow Studios Products!
The "My Point of View" Paper (Cameras) was just too cute and perfect for the photos! It was a must for this layout! I also love the mix of letter stickers on the sticker sheet! It makes creating a title quick and easy!
All of the polaroid frames are from the UmWow Studios Polaroid Mash pack... I just used black ink to color them!
And I couldn't stop there so I whipped out this card... seriously, I whipped it out! It took me all of about 15 minutes!! I love it when a card comes together that quickly!
The Snapshots Die-cuts and Stickers are the perfect embellishments for this fun card!
I have spent this weekend playing with Bella Blvd.'s Snapshot Collection. I seriously love this collection! I have an 11 year old (who thinks she is 18) and sometimes the lines are too little kiddish or too old... this one is just right! It can easily be used for younger kids and for much older kids! It is very versatile!
This past April, Lauren turned 11 and insisted on a photo booth at her party (who doesn't have these at parties these days?!) Anyway... the background for the photos are pretty bright and perfect for the Snapshots line! Take a look....

I used some foam adhesive to add a little dimension to some of the elements.
