Barb here to host the blog today! Spring is definitely in the air! (Unless of course you live in the desert like I do… we went straight to summer!) Quick Quotes new lines are perfect for your spring and summer photos!
I really wanted to keep this layout clean and simple! After all, the papers and colors are already so fabulous! And I really wanted the focus to be on this sweet photo of my daughter and her friend!
I fussy cut the big blue flower from one of the papers in the Serendipity Line. I also hand stitched a few circles on this layout with blue embroidery floss. I used PowderPuff Chalking Ink in different shades of blue around the edges of the circles and photo mats.
This blue flower was from one of the Calypso papers. The center of the flower was orange and I decided I wanted it white! I just used a white pen I had in my stash to cover it up!
I also fussy cut a few of these smaller flowers and scattered them around the layout.
