Craftwork Cards CANDi - Christmas Card

Merry Christmas Eve! For those that celebrate Christmas, I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas! And since it is Christmas Eve and little ones all around the world are anxiously awaiting the arrival of St. Nick, I thought I would share a fun card with you....

This card was made by taking 17 punched circles that I folded and adhered to form a tree shape. I loved the way it popped right off the card! And of course, Christmas wouldn't be complete without Santa peeking out from behind the tree!

I added CANDi to the tree to look like ornaments. It was the perfect touch! I used glue to adhere them to the tree.

I used the Very Merry Silver CANDi on the card:

Quick Quotes - Christmas Cards

Hi! I'm Barb and I am sharing some Christmas cards with you today! I'm not sure where the time goes but all of a sudden I found that it was December and I was not done (not even close!) with my Christmas cards! Yikes!

I decided it was time to get busy so I created these cards using the Cracklin' Rose line. I love how elegant this line is.

The double sided papers make a card like this quick and simple.

I distressed all the edges on this card with Amaretto PowderPuff Chalking Ink. I finished it off with a brown ribbon bow and some berries with greenery. I hope you were a little more on the ball with making your Christmas Cards. But, if you aren't, Quick Quotes Cracklin' Rose line is the perfect solution for you!

Craftwork Cards CANDi - The Girls!

Hi!  Today I am sharing a Christmas layout of my daughters. Sometimes when they are together, they are just plain silly! But it is moments like this that I want to remember... the silly, goofy, everyday moments!

These were taken after a day of baking Christmas cookies. I am blaming the silliness on too much sugar! :)

And, of course, a layout is not complete until you add a little CANDi! Here I sprinkled a few around the ornament hanging from the title.

This entire layout was made with scraps of Echo Park paper left over from other Christmas projects. I added CANDi to the plain green paper and the red paper for some dimension and interest. I love how it adds dimension without distracting from the layout!

I used this CANDi on my layout:

 Rainforest and Very Merry Silver

Quick Quotes - Laughter!

Happy Friday Everyone! It is my month to host the December challenge at Quick Quotes. This month, I am challenging you to use Vellum on your card, layout or off the page project. Here is my layout...

These pictures are from Thanksgiving this year. I know... not your typical color choice for Thanksgiving photos but since we are in Arizona and the kids were running around barefoot, I thought I could use it! I love the Just Because line...the colors make it so versatile.

The vellum on my layout was this fun quote. It was perfect for the silly photos I was using. I adhered it to a piece of cardstock on the left side and tucked that under the banner. I also put some adhesive where the butterflies and flowers are so it wouldn't be seen.

I would love to see how you use vellum on your projects! Be sure to link up your project for a chance to win this month's prize! Good luck!
