Daddy's Girl

Hi! I am stopping back in today with a quick layout I made using some of the papers from the Bella Blvd. Snapshots Collection!

All of the other projects I made with this collection were pretty bright and bold so I decided to tone it down a bit for this one....

My daughter is such a Daddy's girl and I love this photo of them together! For this layout, I used the "other side" of the double-sided papers in the Snapshots Collection! The polaroid frame is from the Snapshots Die-Cuts package.

And right now, my layouts are not complete without the UmWow Studios Confetti!! LOVE this stuff! It is great the way it is or it can be painted, inked and misted! There are over 100 pieces in the package for only $4.... can't beat that!

I sprayed the Heart Confetti with White Linen Dylusion Ink Spray.

This sticker came from the Bella Blvd Snapshots Cardstock Sticker Sheet. I added some My Mind's Eye Cut and Paste Decorative Tape behind it....loved the way it matched this line perfectly!

And then I had a little fun with the twine... using it to help make the title!

Thank you for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Frosted Designs - Beautiful Life

Hello everyone! First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has supported my new adventure and placed orders at Frosted Designs! Opening this store has been so much fun and quite the adventure! And I couldn't do it without the support of all of you!

I have been playing with Echo Park's Beautiful Life Collection Kit! I LOVE this kit! (Which I happen to have in my store: frosted-designs.us)  :)

This 12x12 collection kit includes 12 double-sided papers, 1 element sticker sheet & 1 alphabet sticker sheet.

I created this layout of my sister and I this past summer when I went home for a visit! It just happened to be their festival time so we had to visit Junk Food Alley and have our Lemon Shake-Ups!

I had fun layering all of the patterned papers and even got a little messy with my Dylusions Ink Sprays!

The sticker sheet that is included in the collection kit make creating a title quick & easy! It saves me from having to look through all my letter stickers!  :)

I wanted to play with a few of my mixed media items on this layout so I had some fun getting messy! I used molding paste with the Hero Arts Tweed Stencil to give my background a little texture. Then I sprayed it (and some of the patterned papers) with Dylusions White Linen Ink Spray. I love the way the  ink spray really made the texture pop! And then of course, I had to add some of my UmWow Confetti! The little hearts were the perfect touch for this layout!

Quick Quotes - Glitter Pocket

Hi! Today I am sharing a project I made with the September Club Q kit! I was one excited person when this box filled with crafty goodness arrived on my doorstep! I immediately fell in love with the yellow, gray, black and white color scheme! Gorgeous!

One of the projects that are included in this kit is a School Year Calendar. It is a beautiful calendar that you can quickly make using one of Quick Quotes Wire Bound Albums (which is in the kit.) I wasn't sure that I would actually use a school year calendar but I did see it as a great opportunity to make a mini album for my year of travel!

Not too long ago, one of my friends made a comment that she never knew which city I would show up in next. That got me thinking about the wonderful year of travel that I have had, so I decided to make a mini album that reflected the year. Normally my mini albums are focused on my family but this one is all about me! I took a photo (or two) for each month that shows something fun that I did that month and used that to make my travel mini.... take a look!

Don't you love mix of papers?! The ribbon I used on my travel mini came in the Club Q kit!

The vellum travel quote is from the Quick Quotes Travel Bundle.

I made a glitter pocket using another vellum quote from the Quick Quotes Travel Bundle. If you would like to see how I made it, check out the video at the end of the post!

I loved the Monthly labels that were part of this kit and I used them to label each page of the mini album.

Some of the months I had more to share so I used 2 pages of the album on those months.

This kit is packed full of die cuts which I used throughout my mini album.

I printed the photos in black and white because I liked the way they looked with this color scheme.

I was sure to leave plenty of room for the remainder of the year! I have a few more trips coming up and I want to be able to include them in the album! And I have plenty of paper left to complete the album and still do a few more projects!

This glitter pocket was a fun little embellishment to make. If you would like to make one yourself, watch this video for the step by step instructions!

Craftwork Cards - Photo Shoot Fun

Hello everyone! Since I have been sharing some of my Bella Blvd Snapshots project, I thought I would  share another! :)  This layout was made for Craftwork Cards CANDi! The Metallic Crushed Ice CANDi was perfect to add a little shimmer and shine!

Sequins are popping up everywhere right now. I used them along with CANDi to add some fun sparkles around the cameras! You know... kind of like a flash! :)

Here is a close up of a camera I cut using a Spellbinders die and I added the CANDi right to the center of it!

I love the way this CANDi sparkles... just like the sequins!

This is the CANDi I used on this project:

Thanks for stopping by today!

Frosted Designs - Life is Gr8

Happy Monday Morning! We have had some exciting stuff happening at Frosted Designs! The store is open and we are introducing the new Design Team! Stop over to check it all out! You can enter to win some of the Prima Delight collection and UmWow Studios Products!

I have spent this weekend playing with Bella Blvd.'s Snapshot Collection. I seriously love this collection! I have an 11 year old (who thinks she is 18) and sometimes the lines are too little kiddish or too old... this one is just right! It can easily be used for younger kids and for much older kids! It is very versatile!

This past April, Lauren turned 11 and insisted on a photo booth at her party (who doesn't have these at parties these days?!) Anyway... the background for the photos are pretty bright and perfect for the Snapshots line! Take a look....

The "My Point of View" Paper (Cameras) was just too cute and perfect for the photos! It was a must for this layout!  I also love the mix of letter stickers on the sticker sheet! It makes creating a title quick and easy!

All of the polaroid frames are from the UmWow Studios Polaroid Mash pack... I just used black ink to color them!

And I couldn't stop there so I whipped out this card... seriously, I whipped it out! It took me all of about 15 minutes!! I love it when a card comes together that quickly!

The Snapshots Die-cuts and Stickers are the perfect embellishments for this fun card!

I used some foam adhesive to add a little dimension to some of the elements.

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to go take a look at Frosted Designs new look and enter to win the grand opening prizes!!
