I created this layout using some Crate Paper papers. I used a scallop punch and a scallop sticker along with trim that had scallops to make this layout!

Here is a better photo that shows that I really do have scallops on this layout! They are a little hard to see in the other photo!

Quick Quotes - Altered Inspirational Board

Hi! It's Barb and I am here to host the blog today! I have to tell you, the March Club Q kits are packed full of amazing Dusty Road products and that is great news because this is one of my favorite lines! It so versatile! For today's project, I started with the Inspirational Board and altered it into a photo frame!

I removed some of the dividers between the boxes to create larger openings for my photos. You can see how I did it in the video below!

The sticker and die cut chipboard came as part of the kit. I used PowderPuff Chalking Ink in Java to color the chipboard frame and the birds.

Here is another close up of some of the die-cuts you will find in the kit.

The large flower was made by using Kiwi Lane Designs Floral 2 template. The circle center was fussy cut from a piece of the Dusty Road paper. I used PowderPuff Chalking Ink in Plum Crazy around the edges of the flower.

This kit also comes with this beautiful ribbon!

I was also able to make this card with some of the goodies in the kit! The fun border in the middle was made with Kiwi Lane Designs Paisley Place Mini Borders (3A & 3B).

Quick Quotes Supplies Used:
March Club Q Kit
PowderPuff Chalking Ink: Java, Plum Crazy, Tahiti

Other Supplies Used:
Kiwi Lane Designs: Floral 2
Kiwi Lane Designs: Paisley Place Mini Borders (3A & 3B)
Kraft Cardstock

Craftwork Cards CANDi - Shopping Cabo Style!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start! I wanted to share a layout I created using some new CANDi!

I was going through some of my vacation photos and came across these. My daughter and her cousin were having a good time shopping in Cabo! I loved the bright colors in the photos and these Echo Park papers were perfect!

I used the new Flower Power Mia CANDi along with a black pen to create a corner border around one of the photos.

I also used Rainforest and Gingham Aurora CANDi for the centers of these accordian flowers! I love that CANDi comes in so many bright colors and fun patterns! And best of all, they are very light weight!

I also had a lot of fun mixing up the colors and fonts in the title!

Thanks for taking time to check out my project! Enjoy your week!

Barb :)

Frosted Designs - NYC

This is an exciting week for us at Frosted Designs.... we are introducing our new Design Team! We now have 25 designers from around the world that are going to be sharing their talents, ideas and tips with you each week! Be sure to visit Frosted Designs and welcome the new team! We will be doing introductions for 4 straight days!

Our challenge this week is.... Chevrons! They are a hot trend that we see popping up in several different paper lines so we wanted to give you some ideas on how to put them to use! Here is my layout...

I had this fun picture on my daughter, Kristin, during a trip to NYC. I love using these Pink Paislee papers for teenage layouts. The chevron pattern is pretty big so I broke it up with a band of polka-dotted patterned paper across the middle of the page.

I had fun layering up the embellishments. There is a journal spot where my daughter can add some notes about her trip.

Thank you for stopping by today! Please be sure to stop by the Frosted Designs Blog to see what the rest of the team did with Chevrons!
