Quick Quotes - Wedding Albums

Quick Quotes will soon be releasing their Wedding Collection and I must say.... it is gorgeous! The papers are so elegant and the albums are stunning! I would love to share some layouts I created from 2 of the Wedding Albums.

The first layout was made using the Wedding Kit Album...

The Wedding Kit contains everything you need to complete an entire wedding album very quickly. Included in the kit are predesigned wedding pages, pre-cut photo mats, stickers, journal cards, ribbon and step-by-step instructions. For this layout, I took the predesigned page that looked like this....

I liked the base of the page but wanted to add a few embellishments to add a little extra flair.

I added pre-made flowers and flourishes along with some ribbon and lace. The silver heart die-cut is from a different Quick Quotes kit that I had with my supplies.

Also included in the kit are several word quotes and phrases. I used one of them on this layout. I also added in some papers from their Simple Elegance line. I was pleased at how quickly I could create a beautiful, elegant page in such a short time.

Another album being released is the Wedding Album. This album comes with 24 predesigned pages. You could easily add your wedding pictures and have a complete album in a matter of minutes. I wanted to show how you can take this black and white album and add in your wedding colors to make a customized album. Here is the pre-designed layout I started with....

And after adding some colored patterned paper and a few embellishments, I have this layout....

As you can see, both albums allow you the flexibility to customize the pages to meet your needs. Here is a video I have included that show the albums in more detail and show how I created this layout....

The Wedding Collection will be arriving in stores by mid March.

Craftwork Cards CANDi - Pretty as a Picture!

Do you ever get a photo that you just can't wait to put into a layout?! Well, that is how I felt about these photos of my daughter....

These papers by BoBunny were perfect! And I used plenty of CANDi to embellish the layout!

I fussy cut one of them to create this layered flower. I used pop dots between the layers for added dimension and then topped it off with some
Gingham Celestial CANDi!

I am in love with this new Pretty Little Prints Rose Bouquet
CANDi that I used under the title to embellish the scalloped flowers!

And I used even more CANDi to create a circle behind the photos!

I used PageMaps sketch for this layout:
As you can see, I took some liberties with this one!

Here is the CANDi I used in this layout:
Have a creative week!

Quick Quotes - Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! We have been busy over at Quick Quotes and all of their new products will be arriving soon! (They will be in stores mid March.) And, I must say, the new lines are amazing! I created this gift set for my husband using their new Dusty Road line....

I loved that I could take this line and make a masculine gift set from it.

There is a little funny story with this card. I was in a hotel when I was making this and did not bring the kraft cardstock I needed so I used the sleeve from my coffee cup instead! I think with the Mocha Mama Chalking Ink, it turned out pretty nice! :)

Quick quotes is coming out with more embellishments and the sticker is from the coordinating sticker sheet.

And then I was able to make this heart shaped gift box. I can't tell you what I put inside but I know my husband will love it!

I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Craftwork Cards - Valentine's Bouquet

Happy Monday everyone! Today is a busy day on my blog! Please scroll down to see today's post for Quick Quotes. They are releasing a new Wedding Collection and you are going to want to check it out!

It is hard to believe that it is already February and that Valentine's Day is right around the corner. That is what inspired this fun Valentine's Project!

I used an old botttle that some flowers had come in and wrapped it with some Echo Park papers. I filled the bottle with Conversation Heart Candies and added some Heart Suckers for flowers.

I used some CANDi to embellished the punched border at the top.

I also made a matching tag. I loved the way the CANDi made a nice border at the bottom
and I LOVE the hearts pattern!

I added a some green ribbon to each of the Heart Suckers to make it look like they had leaves.

I used Love Parade CANDi on this project!

These are the perfect embellishments for your Valentine's projects!

Quick Quotes - Wedding Collection

Happy Monday everyone! Quick Quotes is releasing several new lines and I am thrilled to be sharing one of those with you! They have created the Wedding Collection and it is gorgeous!! Let me start by showing you a layout....

This layout was created with the Simple Elegance line. These papers are double-sided and the patterns are perfect for weddings, anniversaries, proms and so much more!

I wanted to add a touch of color to the black and white theme and my PowderPuff Chalking Inks in Maraschino Cherry was the perfect choice! I lightly inked the edges of the white flowers to give them a small splash of pink! I also used it around the edges of the die cut hearts and tag.

Another new product that I am excited about is the Quick Quotes Bundles! I used a vellum quote from the Inspire collection. These bundles are packed with quotes and phrases on both heavyweight paper stock and vellum. They also include several colors and fonts so they are sure to work with any project you are working on! The vellum clock was cut from one of the Quick Quotes Vellum Silhouettes.

Now, as I started to say at the beginning, Quick Quotes is releasing the new Wedding Collection. This collection includes 2 types of Guest Books, 3 different Photo albums that range from quick and easy to a custom album kit, and they also have Thank You Cards! The new Simple Elegance line of papers works beautifully with all of it! I have put together a video to show you all these great new products!

Keep your eye out for the Wedding Collection! I will be arriving in stores in mid February!

Frosted Designs - Love+heart Challenge

Happy Friday morning to you! Frosted Designs has a new challenge posted.... this week we are asking you to use the word LOVE + at least one heart on a card, layout or off the page project. Our Design Team rocked this challenge so please stop by the blog HERE to see their work! Here is my layout...
This photo of Lauren is from years ago but I love it! She has always been such a happy person and I think this picture captures it perfectly!

I had some fun mixing the fonts for the title. I misted the cardboard letters with Shimmer Mist.

I used thin strips of different patterned papers to create the heart and then used bakers twine to make the border around it!

Also.... I wanted to share that Frosted Designs has made a small change. Instead of offering a challenge every week, we are now doing challenges every other week. That means that you have almost 2 weeks to play along!! :)

Thanks for stopping by today!
