Classroom Calendar

I created this calendar for my classroom. (Really it is just a small office - I only work with small groups!) I liked that it was compact and easy to change. I have very few bullentin boards in my small office so I didn't want to take up space on them with a calendar... this was a great alternative for me. I picked up the magnetic board at Meijers back in the fall. I made the calendar lines by cutting black vinyl into strips and using those strips for the grid. (This was before I received the calendar cartridge - a Chrismas gift from my mom - Thanks Mom!) I have made a few sets of numbers to use so that I can change them with the color theme each month (and this too is so much easier with the calendar cartridge!) I will try to add pictures each month as I change the calendar.

I love this idea. What are your overall dimensions for the board? Also, do you have the dimensions from end to end on the vinyl?

Cute, Cute, Cute!
