Our first sketch was found at Scrapiopath (Sketch #34) and it was a lot of fun to play with!! When you are over at the Sketches in Thyme blog, be sure to check out what the design team Mavens did with this sketch!! I love how one sketch can have so many different interpretations!!
My favorite part of this LO is the flowers! They were some Prima ones I had in my stash. I had originally bought them because I like to have white flowers around so that when I can't find the right color flower, I can color one myself! But for this LO, the white was perfect. I added color to them by stringing some beads on a wire and poking them through the centers! Aren't they perfect for Hawaiian flowers?!! I love how they turned out!! Then I took some green ribbon and cut some slits into the side. By using glue dots to glue them down, I was able to twist them a bit to look more like palm leaves!!!
Supplies used:
Paper - Making Memories Great Escape
Flowers - Prima
Cricut - Lyrical Letters
Misc. - gel pens and rub ons
