Quick Quotes NSD Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! If this is your first visit, welcome! And if you are one of my friends that have visited often, glad to see you back! I am excited to be part of the Quick Quotes National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop! If you didn't start at the Quick Quotes blog, click HERE to go there and start from the beginning!

Our challenge for the month of May is Fussy Cutting! At each of the designers blogs, you will see what they were able to create using the amazing papers from Quick Quotes!  Here is my Fussy Cut Layout!

The Quick Quotes One Fine Day papers were perfect for this picture from our vacation to Kauai last spring!
I fussy cut the flowers from one of the papers, inked the edges using the Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalking inks and then added some Smooch Pearl Accents. I then layered them using foam adhesive to add some dimension! I love how it turned out!

Here is the blog hop sequence:

Barb Craft - You are here!!

Your next stop is Tanisha's Blog!

Be sure to hop all the way through for your chance at winning a great prize!  Since Quick Quotes is celebrating National Scrapbooking Day (and 6,000 fans over on Facebook!) they are giving away a grab bag full of crafty Quick Quotes goodness!  And since the PowderPuff Chalk Inks are our featured product this month, there is sure to be some in there! Remember, to have a chance to win, you need to  leave a comment on each of the Designer's blogs and then head back to Quick Quotes and leave a comment with your favorite project or tip from the hop! Hop is open for comments until Sunday, May 6 at 11:59pm. Happy Hopping!

Wonderful layout with the fussy cut flowers. I created some scrapbook layouts using Summer Samba that I had won (you can see them on my blog). Received my order of more Summer Samba & Tin paper so now I can give this fussy cutting a try. I like my Tim Holtz scissors so I'm looking forward to seeing what i can do now that I'm inspired.

Beautiful piece! And adding the pearls to the flowers is the perfect extra touch! Not sure if i'll get into the fussy cutting. But this is a great look.
