Now that I live in Arizona, I am really missing the changing colors of the leaves that we saw when I lived in the midwest. (I must also confess, I really don't miss raking these leaves!) I came across these photos of my daughter and her friend who were raking leaves for an elderly neighbor who was excited to get a little extra help! For the most part, the girls did a great job, but at one point, they got a little distracted from the task on hand and the leaf fight started!
Bag O' Chips - Fall Leaves. I wanted to give the leaf a little texture so I embossed it with gold powder. I then covered the gold with PowderPuff Chalking Ink in Lemonade and finished it off with a little Mocha Mama and Mango Mai Tai around the edges.
Lemonade to color them and then misted them with Creative Memories Shimmer Mist. I added some trim, brads and pen detail to finish them off.
I used this month's Quick Quote sketch for my inspiration... I love Karan's sketches! We would love to see how you use this sketch!
